The Lookout Gallery is pleased to host “Heroes in the Seaweed,” a collection of work from Rosa Quintana Lillo.
Through surrealism, the landscape legacies of Emily Carr, and the guerilla tactics of graffiti artists, Quintana creates a collage of disparate world events. These paintings are like newscasts by anthropologists assessing our technological addictions, myopic behaviours, and the end of civilization.
This exhibition will run from June 27–July 26, 2018.
