Join us on Wednesdays during this year’s Summer Programs to enjoy conversations with members of our summer faculty. The professors and topics are different each week, so there’s always something new to explore.

TOPIC

This week, Regent Summer regulars Susan Phillips and Gordon Smith will have a conversation about small spiritual practices that Christians can incorporate into their everyday lives. Join us at noon in Room 100, and feel free to bring your lunch.

SPEAKERS

Susan Phillips is Executive Director and Professor of Sociology and Christianity at New College Berkeley, as well as a well-known writer and spiritual director. This summer, she is teaching Contemplative Listening.

Gordon Smith is President and Professor of Systematic and Spiritual Theology at Ambrose University in Calgary, Alberta. He is teaching on Spiritual Discernment this summer.

FORMAT

Wednesday Lunchtime Conversations will be offered onsite at Regent College. These events are open to the public, and no registration is required.

While these lunchtime events will not be available online, many of the faculty participants are also delivering Evening Public Lectures that will be livestreamed and available for a limited time on Regent’s YouTube channel. Visit rgnt.net/live to learn more!
