TOGETHER FOR THE CITY
Do you have a burden for the “Church” in Canada to become more effective at leadership development, gospel proclamation, church-planting and city impact? Do you have a desire to network with like-minded leaders from cities across the country? Do you feel a need to be inspired and equipped toward greater gospel impact? If so, consider attending The Gospel and Our Cities Conference; it promises to be a catalyst for these types of conversations.
The tagline, Together for the City, is borrowed with respect from Neil Powell and John James. They tell the story of 2020birmingham and how a collaborative vision for their city has resulted in church-planting fruitfulness (in a book by the same title). We look forward to having Neil with us in Vancouver.
It’s not enough to plant individual churches in isolation from each other. The spiritual need and opportunity of our cities is too big for any one church, network, or denomination to meet alone. To truly transform a city, the gospel compels us to create localized, collaborative church planting movements. The more willing we are to collaborate, the more effectively we will reach our communities, whatever their size, for Jesus.

The Gospel & Our Cities Conference is brought to you by City to City North America and Churches Together. These groups are working together to establish church-based, pastor-led, collaboration in towns and cities across Canada. A special thank you to both Westside Church (Vancouver) and Northview Church (Abbotsford) who are our local hosts.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This conference is open to everyone, but has been specifically designed for Canadian leaders who are thinking, dreaming, and praying about leadership development, church-planting, and gospel-multiplication. Leaders from any North American city will find encouragement and equipping, but Vancouver 2022 will have a special focus on Canadian leaders and Canadian realities.
The themes of Gospel, City and Movement Dynamics will frame our sessions.
None of us can accomplish “Jesus’ Mission” ALONE! If God, by His Spirit, has been speaking to you about collaboration for the sake of your city and for the sake of the Gospel, then this conference is for you!
