An art show Nov 5-16, 2013 in the SUB Art Gallery:
-to bring awareness to the experiences and impact of the Indian Residential Schools on the Indigenous Peoples in Canada
-to continue dialogue on truth and reconciliation through artistic expression
We invite the UBC community to participate in expressing how one understands truth and the need for reconciliation through art and creative expression.
We invite you to submit works of art that relate to the experiences and impact of the Indian Residential Schools, as well as work that relate to apology, truth, cultural oppression, cultural genocide, resistance, resilience, spirituality, remembrance, reconciliation and rejuvenation.
This is in partnership with the UBC First Nations Longhouse.
