Engage with top Puritan scholars as they present the history and significance of one book of their choosing, and take some time yourself to handle and peruse the collection’s most remarkable works. This weekend will continue the process of tapping the rich resources contained in the collection, which features special strengths in Puritan history, spirituality, and theology. From Puritan mainstays like Richard Baxter, to relative unknowns such as mystical writer Isaac Ambrose, this is as close as you’ll get to meeting the period’s most dynamic characters face-to-face.
Visit the conference schedule for the list of speakers and the rare books they will be exploring. For more information on the speakers go here.
In addition to the scheduled presenters, Dr. James Houston and Dr. JI Packer, who donated their rare book collections to Regent, will be speaking.
Lunch and tea or coffee will be provided.
