Join us this summer for Wednesday Lunchtime Conversations: your chance to engage with Regent’s world-class summer faculty and special guests around ideas and questions that matter for our lives today. The speakers and topics are different each week, so there’s always something new to explore.
TOPIC
This week, historian Vince Bantu will discuss the specificity of church history in places around the world. Why is it so important to learn the history of Christianity in particular locations and cultures? Join us at noon in Room 100 to find out. Feel free to bring your lunch—and your questions.
SPEAKER
Dr. Vince Bantu is the Ohene (President) of the Meachum School of Haymanot and Assistant Professor of Church History and Black Church Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary. He joins us to teach The Early Church in Africa and Asia from July 3 to 7.
FORMAT
Wednesday Lunchtime Conversations will be offered onsite at Regent College. These events are open to the public, and no registration is required.
While these lunchtime events will not be available online, many of the faculty participants are also delivering Evening Public Lectures that will be livestreamed and available for a limited time on Regent’s YouTube channel. Visit rgnt.net/live to learn more!
