ABOUT THE LECTURE

Today’s moral challenges are complex, and the pace of social change is breath-taking. Competing gospels that promise deliverance from the human predicament vie for our attention, loyalty, and even worship. How can Christians be equipped to address disruptions in a world that is becoming more diverse and divided, religiously pluralistic, secularized, globally connected, and nationalistic? These challenges feel daunting. But the good news of Jesus has thrived, and the church has been renewed, in tumultuous times. Now is a moment to consider afresh a comprehensive application of the gospel and to foster a creative catechesis of civic discipleship.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
