DETAILS
The data, collected by the Angus Reid Institute in partnership with Cardus, illuminates key areas for Canada’s faith communities to consider as they look ahead to the future.
Some of the key questions we will explore together at this event are:
- Why are young people remaining faithful in numbers similar to previous generations?
- Who is in the seats? Do members of our congregations actually believe what we think they believe?
- How do different faith groups perceive their place in society? How do they view others of different faiths?
- What is the experience of the convert, the revert, and those who have left?
This event has two key purposes: sharing our findings, and learning from faith leaders.
The event will include a presentation of the data itself by Ray Pennings, Executive Vice-President of Cardus, who specializes in this specific area of research; followed by an interactive discussion led by Rev. Dr. Andrew Bennett.
