Special Event: Dying in Canada: A Pastoral Approach
October 17, 2015. St. Patrick’s Parish (2881 Main Street, Vancouver).
9:00 am to Noon. Beginning with Mass.
An educational workshop on assisted suicide for parishioners and healthcare workers. The goal is to equip parishioners with the facts and a way of speaking about assisted suicide as well as why it is important that we do. Participants will be able to answer the difficult questions that come up with regard to nutrition and hydration, physical and emotion pain, feeling like a burden, proportionate and disproportionate treatments.
