As a young man, Josh McDowell considered himself an agnostic. However, when challenged to examine the claims of Christianity, Josh discovered compelling, overwhelming evidence for the reliability of the Christian faith. Josh’s life changed dramatically as he experienced the power of God’s love. In over 50 years of ministry Josh has addressed more than 25 million people, visited 125 countries, and written 138 books, including Evidence that Demands a Verdict. In spite of all the honors and awards he has received, Josh says his greatest joy comes from his family. He and his wife Dottie have been married over 40 years. They have four children and eight grandchildren.

Glenn Smith is the Executive Director of Christian Direction, a multi-faceted ministry committed to see God transform urban communities by the concerted actions of committed Christians in the cities of the Francophone world. He is a recognized leader and teacher in the area of urban missiology, as well as the Senior Associate for the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization. Missions Fest Vancouver is part of Missions Fest International and highlights global mission opportunities, showcases over 230 international Christian organizations, and features world class speakers within the context of over 100 seminars, plenary sessions, youth rallies, and children’s workshops.

Its three-fold purpose is to inform, celebrate and challenge people of all ages to get involved in missions by sending, praying, giving and going. This all happens within a three-day weekend conference at Vancouver’s Convention & Exhibition Centre on the last weekend of January each year.

Join the thousands who attend and learn about developments not reported in the media, celebrate what God is doing, interact with international guests, and be stimulated and challenged to make your life count by reaching out effectively to a needy world.
