LANGLEY- The community is invited to an open forum with Ambassador Danny Ayalon, former Israeli Ambassador to the USA at Trinity Western University’s Northwest Auditorium. With first hand information, Former Israeli Ambassador, Danny Ayalon, will share his experiences as an Ambassador and discuss current events. We are also excited to hear about the important, life saving work of Christian Friends of Magen David Adom (Israeli emergency rescue services) from the Ambassador’s wife, Anne Ayalon and Elana Watson. This free event is open to the public, and is hosted by Langley Chapter of the TWU Alumni. The forum will be followed by Q and A and refreshments.

Ambassador Daniel Ayalon
BIO
Ambassador Danny Ayalon is the President of Hod Ayalon Ltd, a private consulting firm for governments and international corporations, and Partner in Silver Road Capital Ltd , an investment banking firm. He is also the Founder of “The Truth About Israel,” a non-profit corporation to train and educate the public about the facts of Israel using social media. Ambassador Ayalon is a member of the Board of Governors of Tel Aviv University, and the Lantos Human Rights and Justice Foundation in Washington, DC. He is a visiting professor at Yeshiva University teaching a course on Statecraft, Public Diplomacy and International Relations. Prior to this, Danny served as a Member of Knesset (Israeli Parliament) and was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, from 2009 to 2013, and Israel’s Ambassador to the United States from July 2002 to November 2006. From 1997-2002, prior to his appointment to Washington, Ayalon served as Foreign Policy Advisor to Prime Ministers Benjamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak, and as Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Ambassador Ayalon holds an MBA and a BA in Economics and Labor Studies. He was a Captain in the IDF Armored Corps. Married to Anne in 1980, together they have two daughters.
