Start the New Year with intention and space with God as you engage in solitude at A Rocha’s Brooksdale Environmental Centre.
From 7 pm, January 17th to 5 pm, January 19th
Your stay will include:
A private room, all meals, two teaching sessions on contemplative prayer, morning, mid-day and evening prayers, optional spiritual direction, access to A Rocha’s nature trails, gardens and heritage guesthouse.
Never been on a silent retreat? That’s okay. You can use the time however you like, whether that’s for times of prayer, reading, walking, journaling, sketching — the sky is limit (as long as it’s a quiet activity – no tubas please :)).
Your facilitator: Leah Kostamo
Leah, a trained spiritual director, who will be on hand if you’re looking for ideas on how to use your time or would like to reflect on what you’re experiencing.
