Our Spring concert moves from timeless reflection to longing, hope, love, connection, and ends in a warm blessing of peace.
In a world that often feels heavy, You Who Bear the Light invites you into an evening of warmth, hope, and shared humanity.
This concert traces a powerful emotional journey—from stillness and longing to joy, connection, and celebration. At its heart is You Who Bear the Light by Ramona Luengen, a radiant set of three choral pieces commissioned by our choir, culminating in a world premiere. Through luminous harmonies and evocative poetry, the music speaks of resilience, compassion, and the quiet joy that endures even in the darkest moments.
The surrounding programme is shaped in close dialogue with Luengen’s work, reimagining Bach’s chorale, wrestling with life’s deepest questions, and celebrating love in all its forms. Together, the music forms a coherent arc—comforting, uplifting, and deeply human.
Come be part of an evening where voices rise together, every note is a spark, and light is carried—outward and forward.
Featuring choral music by Ramona Luengen, Rosephanye Powell, Randall Thompson, Marie-Claire Saindon, Jake Runestad, and more.
