Over the fall, local groups across Canada met for conversation and reading of  the open and living document: “Interculturality Framework and Guiding Principles: An Invitation to Conversation and Dialogue,” developed by The Theology and Research Working Group of The Forum for Intercultural Leadership and Learning (FILL). These conversations were shaped by local contexts and experiences of interculturality. As they read the document together, participants were asked to submit three questions that arise out of reading the document in their context.

Canada-wide On-line Conversation (November 28, 2022)
Members of the Fill Theology and Research group will convene a two-hour on-line Canada-wide conversation engaging the local conversations’ questions and reflections. This event will be conversational, including time in small groups. Together participants will engage the Interculturality document and tell the stories of how their local contexts are responding to the questions inspired by the document.

Conversation Participants
This conversation is open to all who are interested. Please register with your contact information below so we can connect you to the cross-Canada session. This will be a gathering of the local groups and a wider community. If you have not connected with a local conversation you are encouraged to join the Canada-wide event. If you have connected with a local conversation, please indicate the conveners name in the registration.

Local Conversations
These conversations are already complete or underway. Local conveners can still access the  Conversation Conveners Invitation letter.

This activity has been framed by The Research and Theology group of FILL, which invites, fosters, and amplifies the many people working toward theologies of interculturality, connects faith based intercultural ministry to the learning of other disciplines, and initiates and brings together research on intercultural ministry in the churches.
