Drugs, hard liquor, and crime once defined Matt Choquette’s life. He was heading straight for disaster, and he knew it. Too proud to listen – or take advice from others, Matt turned to the Bible and a dramatic change took place.
Now after a successful 32-year career with the Ministry of Transportation, which led to overseeing multi-million dollar transportation projects, Matt Choquette owns one of the most celebrated restaurants in the city. Named by the Vancouver Sun as “One of the Top 15 Patio Restaurants in Vancouver”, Matt and his eldest daughter run Beatniks Bistro in Fort Langley.
