Shannon MacDonald is a senior Partner and Vice Chair with Deloitte Canada. She has frequently been honoured for her contributions to business and community leadership, twice she has been named in the top 100 of  Canada’s Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN).

With over 26 years of audit & consulting experience, she has been the lead client service partner or advisory partner on a number of Deloitte’s most significant clients in Canada.

As Managing Partner for Deloitte Atlantic, Shannon oversaw the quality, client satisfaction, growth, marketplace, and human resource initiatives for 3 offices and over 250 professionals and was twice named one of Atlantic Canada’s Top 50 CEO’s..

A diversity champion, Shannon was a founding member of the firm’s Diversity Council as well as Atlantic Canada’s Talent and Diversity Council and the firm’s Chief Diversity Officer for three years. She has established a reputation as a thought leader and popular speaker on topics ranging from productivity and governance to the financial implications of forecasted spending on provincial government programs and health care systems. She was recently named one of the 50 most influential CEO’s and leaders in Atlantic Canada for two years in succession.

Her professional uniqueness is rooted in a track record of combining deep vertical sector knowledge & functional expertise with a passion for teamwork and inclusion in order to successfully drive growth and Client satisfaction. She is an experienced global and community board member for both private company and not-for-profit organizations. Shannon’s community and philanthropic efforts include the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, Atlantic Provinces Economic Council (APEC), the Board of Capital District Health Authority, the Canadian Cancer Society – Nova Scotia Division, the Women’s College Hospital Board, Toronto, and Alpha Canada.

Now in Toronto, Shannon leads the Ontario Government practice for Deloitte.
