Sam Rocha is a parishioner at St. Mark’s Parish, an associate professor at UBC, and a local musician. He has released three full albums, an EP, and a single since 2011.”
Anamnesis” is his newest concept album, released on December 1st (the First Sunday of Advent). This album explores the idea of “anamnesis,” a notion taken from Plato by the Catholic theology and philosophy. Rocha’s previous work has explored ideas of freedom, love, fear, and the “Confessions” of St. Augustine.
