Just a reminder that this coming Monday night, Feb 23rd, will be the second in our series of Faith and Justice Roundtable discussions. On this occasion, we’ll be looking at the fundamental historical injustice in our part of the world: settler colonialism and its devastating impacts on Indigenous peoples.
We’ll talk together about our own personal connections to this issue, examine what settler colonialism means, and how we might orient ourselves toward justice within this current context.
We’ll also explore a biblical text together as a way of shaping our imaginations and actions. On this occasion, we’ll look at the story of Mark 5:1-20 where Jesus heals a man who has a spirit named “Legion”.
