All Souls’ Solemn Requiem Mass
The Solemn Requiem for All Souls’ ( the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed ) will be sung by the High Mass Choir.
The setting of the Mass is Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, a deeply personal work written in the late 1880s.
Fauré wrote about the work that it is dominated from beginning to end by a very human feeling of faith in eternal rest.
