Frank C. Turner is an actor and iconographer. He received his theatrical training at the University of Alberta and graduated from there in 1975 with a BFA.
For the first few years after graduation he acted in theaters all over western Canada and Ontario. Several years later, he moved to Vancouver and has been working in the film industry since then.
His credits include movies and TV shows such as the “Air Bud” movie series, “The New Addams Family: Feud in the Addams Family,” and “Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw Years.”
In the late 1980’s he began studying iconography, taking various workshops in the US and Canada. He has finished work on about about 100 icons. He is now living in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.
In his Lecture he will provide a brief history and theological foundation for the use of images in the life of the Church.
