- HELP NEEDED for Co:Here Affordable Housing Project
Do you want to see us start building? raise funds for a good cause to address homelessness and have them matched? be motivated to simplify & de-clutter your life to live more justly by sharing some of your good quality stuff?
Here is how:
1. Volunteer to help with the Great Grandview Garage Sale at our church building and outside SATURDAY JUNE 20th – we will need lots of help! – helping with organizing the event, sorting stuff the week before the event, help us post the best stuff on Craigslist, helping make posters and posting them around the neighbourhood, helping on the day for shift of 2 hours, making food & drinks to sell, be a greeter to give info about Co:here, Crossroads and CLEAN Laundry program http://co-here.ca/ and http://gcbchurch.ca/affiliated-ministries/in-the-neighbourhood/
2. Donate good quality stuff – you can bring them to church starting from Monday June 14th till Friday June 19th, 2015 evening
Lots of good stuff: Furniture such as Chairs, Barstools, office chairs. Collectibles, Records, Tapes, CD’s ,DVDs Sports Equipment, Bike, Unicycle, Clothes, Purses including Prada and other Leather purses, Jewelry & Accessories, Automotive, Big Woven Baskets, Men’s & Women’s clothing & Shoes, Lots of Children’s stuff…Kid’s Clothing, Children’s books & Learning materials, Toys, Wide Selection of Books including: Teacher’s Materials, Novels, Poetry Books, Textbooks, Language Learning Software and CD’s FACEPAINTING, FOOD: Sandwiches, Lemonade, Bubble Tea, Juice, Baked Goods, Freezies, Hot Dogs, etc.
