Presented by Early Music Vancouver as part of their Chan Centre Concert series
Following the triumphant productions of Händel’s “Orlando” in 2012 and “Israel in Egypt” in 2013, the Vancouver Early Music Festival’s 2014 centrepiece will feature the very first oratorio by the youthful composer: “Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno” (HWV 46a), composed in 1707 to a libretto by Cardinal Benedetto Pamphili.
