A City in Focus and Tenth Church Prayer Retreat

Facilitator: Mark Anderson

Jesus worked hard. His days were full. But He was never rushed, never frantic, never cut off from the Father. According to Him, the key to moving from “busy days” to a “full life” is complete trust in the Father for everything we need: I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. John 5:19-20

“Hearing God” is not a technique to be mastered, but rather the intentional cultivation of a relationship … a relationship with our loving Heavenly Father for which we were created!

This retreat will provide a helpful, practical perspective on staying connected with God throughout the day that can move us from “going out to do His work” to experiencing Him and collaborating with Him in all we do.

Spacious time will also be provided for doable exercises that help us to invite Jesus into the everyday life we are living. We don’t have to live and minister alone! Reconnect. Deepen. Expand.
