Each year in mid-October, the City of Vancouver join communities and organizations throughout
the region to mark Homelessness Action Week. Community and grassroots events and projects are
an important part of Homelessness Action Week, both in weeks leading up to HAW, but also following HAW.
This week is an effort to increase awareness on how many people in our own city, region and province are affected by homelessness.
