Church Music Ministry of Canada is a Christian, non-denominational, non-profit organization. It promotes, and thus revives, traditional hymn singing amongst people of all ages and culture.
At our hymn festivals, which are held twice every year, congregation’s participation is definitely encouraged. As a member of this organization for almost ten years, I can say that I have benefited tremendously from these hymn festivals and the training courses that it offers.
I have seen participants at our sing-a-long festivals where joy, peace, and healing exuded from their facial expressions. I also have seen handicapped individuals in our congregation enjoying the sing-a-long so much that it brought tears to my eyes. Music is the universal language for all generations.
Hymn singing will bring peacefulness and reassurance to everyone. It encourages us in times of difficulties and brings comfort to those in need. Most of all, it lets us express our joy in Christ and share this joy with everyone. Come to our hymn festivals and discover for yourself!
