You are welcome to this facilitated day retreat offering gathered times of simple worship and guided reflection, personal times of silent contemplation and prayer, and voluntary small group conversation.

We often say that God is “with us,” but what does that mean for us, and what difference does God’s presence make in our daily lives? In the setting of Advent’s waiting and longing, we’ll make space to encounter God with our own longings, and our hopes for this season. Join us as we begin Advent together with a day of nourishment for your soul, exploring the reality of the with-us God, Jesus Christ.
Date and Time: Saturday, November 30, 2019, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Location: Marineview Christian Community Church, 4000 W 41st Avenue, Vancouver
Cost: $50 ($35 for students). Lunch is provided, and coffee, tea and snacks will be available throughout the day.
Registration: Registration deadline is Monday, November 18.
Please register early: a minimum of ten people required to proceed with this gathering.
