BIO
Jennifer was raised in a secular home of mixed Jewish/Christian heritage. She learned about Jesus at school and began to follow him as a child. She was baptized at age 19 and spent the next few months in Israel working on a kibbutz. Since then, she has been exploring and incorporating her Jewishness into her walk with Jesus and into her family. She has also wrestled with Jewish-Christian theology and dialogue through several essays for Regent courses. She met her husband Gary at Regent in 1990. They have three sons whom they raised mainly in East Malaysia, Borneo, where they served for 10 years with OMF-International. Jennifer is a medical doctor and also has hospital pastoral training. She is completing an MA in applied theology from Regent this year. Gary and Jennifer’s favourite hobby is Israeli folkdancing, and you will find them at the Jewish Community Centre most Wednesday nights!
