What might an embodied faith look like? During this retreat we will consider how can we can connect with God, our truest selves, and creation by honouring our bodies and how we experience the world, others and God as, well, people with bodies! In addition to shared times of reflection and litugy, we will participate in emodiment practices such as somatic awareness, breathwork, and encounters with creation as a way of being present to ourselves and God.
There will also be time for solitude and enjoyment of the A Rocha centre’s trails and gardens.
Leah Kostamo, a trained spiritual director and Registered Clinical Counsellor, will facilitate the retreat.
The day will include a farm fresh lunch, snacks and all the tea and coffee your tummy can hold!
