HOW A FIRST NATIONS BUSINESS LEADER OVERCAME ADVERSITY TO BUILD A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS

Integrating business, life and faith

Bill Adsit grew up in an abusive First Nations family and overcame the ordeal of attending residential school until age 15. He then served 38 years in the Canadian military, Transport Canada, Indian & Northern Affairs, Industry Canada and Revenue Canada, before assuming a leadership role with his own band, the Tahltan First Nation.

When he was President and CEO of the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation, he established 30 joint venture operations with Canadian corporations. Under his leadership, gross revenue grew from 9 million per annum to more than 55 million.

Today, Bill continues to help the First Nations people advance economically, collectively and as individuals proud of their heritage. Join us to hear how Bill moved past deep hurts and anger to achieve great success in his professional and personal life. “God has given me the power to change my life! To forgive and move on when you get hurt badly is not something one can do simply out of human strength.”

Limited seating.
