A number of local churches are once again coming together to present Lift Every Voice, an annual ecumenical choir concert, held this year on Sunday, April 15th at 3:00pm at the Ladner Christian Reformed Church. Started many years ago by Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the concert is held at a different church each year and will feature nine choirs from the #SouthDelta who are part of what is called the “South Delta Ministerial.”
The South Delta Ministerial is a group representing these churches across South Delta, and which raises money for and manages the “Community Fund of Faith.” This fund provides one-time financial assistance for needs such as housing, heat, hydro, emergency transportation and medication.
Admission to the concert is by donation with any donations of $20 or more issued an income tax receipt.
Delta Funeral Home & Cremation Centre will be providing the refreshments.
