This workshop will be held on the North Shore.

This event will help everyone understand how to spend an hour with vulnerable people. With greater confidence you’ll be able to seek volunteer opportunities at hospitals, long term care facilities, or parish based groups. Now more than ever, we can help foster a culture that is more open to life.

The Dying Healed Program does not aim to replace the volunteer programs of the various institutions that exist for elderly or disabled patients, or those in long-term care, palliative or hospice care. In this regard, the program is a “pre-training” program giving formation and knowledge on end-of-life issues, understanding of human suffering, human dignity and the power of human presence.
