Come and experience the Israelites’ journey in the desert through the eyes of Bengali traditional music, movement, and dress. After their liberation from slavery in Egypt, the Hebrew people crossed the Red Sea into a horizon of endless wilderness. It was here in this empty expanse through times of deprivation and loneliness that a community of ex-slaves gradually learned the feel and taste of true spiritual freedom. What is the desert in your life? Perhaps your story is embedded somewhere inside this story. We welcome you to come and find out. Performance Times: 1) Saturday November 29th – Stand alone performance 7:00PM  (fundraising dinner at 5:30PM. Call 604-803-1195 or email for more information) 2) Sunday November 30th – Embedded in the worship services at 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM. A donation will be collected at each performance.
