Meet Your Relatives: Grassroots Ecumenism
Vancouver’s Roman Catholics and Anglicans plan three dialogue events for 2014

First Event: Sunday, January 26th, 2014, at St. Helen’s Parish, North Burnaby, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby, 2-4pm. Registration at 1:30pm.

The principal participants for the first event will be the Reverend Dr. Richard Leggett, Incumbent Priest at St. Faith’s Anglican Church, Vancouver and Dr. Christophe Potoworowski, Professor at Redeemer Pacific College in Langley.
This event is not a lecture. Richard and Christophe will engage in dialogue and from their discussion a larger conversation will be facilitated and open to all those attending the event.

Presented by, the Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations Office of the Archdiocese of Vancouver (Coordinator, Marjeta Bobnar) and the Ecumenical Multi-Faith Unit (EMU) of the Diocese of New Westminster (the Venerable Grant Rodgers) in order to facilitate understanding and a shared vision of mission between the two denominations.

For planning purposes, an indication of your intention to attend the first session would be appreciated. You may do this by contacting Anne Larochelle at [email protected] or 604-944-2742. The next scheduled event in the Growing Together in Unity and Mission program is March 23rd, 2014, with the third being scheduled for the spring of 2014. Stay tuned.
