Join us for a charity benefit event on February 22nd in one of Vancouver’s only mid-century modern theatres at Granville Chapel from 7:00pm to 9:30pm launching Mountain Plastic: Powered by Himalayan Life. Come find out how education for children and plastic recycling can go hand-in-hand in the Himalayas.
Mountain Plastic Ambassador, Joyce Azzam and Himalayan Life CEO, Daniel Burgi will be sharing about the imminent reality of plastic in the Himalayas and how Mountain Plastic will be addressing this issue.
Joyce Azzam is the only Lebanese woman to complete the Seven Summits Challenge by summitting Mt Everest in May 2019. Joyce is a Conservation Architect with a Ph.D. in Landscape and the Environment. She is also the leader of MounTurtle where she strives to empower the Sherpa people of Nepal.
