Prof. Carl. R. Trueman is a professor of Biblical and Theological Studies at Grove City College in Grove City, PA. Originally from England, he earned his MA at the University of Cambridge and a PhD at the University of Aberdeen.

His work and interests have evolved from a focus on the Reformation and post-Reformation Protestant thought to a more recent exploration of identity, critical theory, and the effects of the sexual revolution.

He has authored and edited several books, including Luther’s Legacy: Salvation and English Reformers, 1525-1556 (Oxford); John Owen: Reformed Catholic, Renaissance Man (Ashgate); The Creedal Imperative (Crossway); The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self: Cultural Amnesia, Expressive Individualism, and the Road to Sexual Revolution (Crossway).
