Presenters:
David Sorteberg has been serving among the Chinese Diaspora with OMF since 1995. The focus of his service has been reaching and discipling Chinese international students in the US in cooperation with the local Chinese church. He is director of OMF’s North American Diaspora Ministries team and has been involved for many years in training those with a heart for reaching internationals in Chinese and Asian culture as it relates to contextualized evangelism and discipling.
Carolyn Kemp has worked with OMF since 1993 when she served in Manila’s slums as a church planter. She has been with the Diaspora Ministries Field for 10 years, currently in the role of Field Director. Reaching and discipling East Asians who are scattered is the field focus, emphasizing contextualised, intentional, in-depth discipling, training and coaching and preparing returning scholars, academics and business people to be effective followers of Jesus when they return to their home countries.
