Back from New York, the Tour Choir joins SAMC’s other choirs and orchestra for a culturally rich evening of sacred works.
Prepare for Easter with a Passion oratorio by award-winning Canadian composer Allan Bevan, evocative Renaissance cathedral music, and contemporary psalm settings. The performers also have the privilege of premiering two new pieces by local composers: “The Singing Shepherd” by Kathleen Allan and “Sanctuary” by David Squires, Dean and Professor of Music at TWU’s School of the Arts, Media + Culture.
