“Does it surprise you that Christians, who should be known for truthfulness, struggle so hard with having honest conversations?”
The workshops, led and facilitated by Tim Schroeder, will include video interviews with Bill Hybels and Joseph Grenny speaking directly into the questions of establishing a renewed culture of honesty and openness in the Canadian context.
We’ll address practical questions like: “If I want to raise the bar on honest conversations in our church, where do I start? What if some people in my church, or on my team, are too emotionally unhealthy for a critical conversation? Can truth-telling and a culture of honest conversations be learned?
As with past INNOVATE sessions, there is certainly value for any individual who attends, but since we are focusing on “changing culture,” the greatest value will be for teams to attend together from the same ministry setting.
It is our intent for teams leaving INNOVATE to have gained a solid overview of the issues involved, to have experienced what healthy crucial conversations look and feel like, and to depart with some clear recommendations for next steps as well as tools to assist in future development.
We rely on donations to help grow the impact of this ministry. If you are able, a suggested donation of $300 per team is appreciated. Donate Online Here.
