You are warmly invited to an online evening of music, poetry, and prose at our annual ILLUMINATE Gala on Friday, November 27 at 7PM.
The ILLUMINATE Gala has been St. Hildegard’s Sanctuary’s main annual fundraising event, and has been highly lauded and greatly enjoyed. While we are not now able to gather in person for this event, we decided to continue our custom of a pre-Advent gathering. So this year we are inviting friends to join us for a free evening of art and contemplation, with adaptions for an online event.
The evening will showcase performances by community members and long-standing friends of St. Hildegard’s Sanctuary. We are delighted to welcome musical guests Clare Morgan, Celtic harpist and vocalist; and Nicholas Smith, guitarist; with readings by Celeste Snowber, poet/ author/dancer; and Susan Pieters, author. We will also be graced with the piano stylings of beloved community music director, Ruben Federizon, and favourite seasonal readings will be shared.
So… get a plate of nibbles and a favourite beverage, put on your Advent blue, and join us online to ILLUMINATE!
