Starting Tuesday, March 9th, join us for online teaching from the authors of Standing Strong Through the Storm, Rev. Paul Estabrooks and Dr. Jim Cunningham. Standing Strong Through the Storm Online will guide you through the process and discovery of vital, biblical keys to becoming a Christian who can stand strong – and be victorious – no matter what the storm.
Registration includes a copy and shipping of Standing Strong Through the Storm – 3rd Edition text book and access to the weekly online sessions.
Standing Strong through the Storm Online is a collaboration between Open Doors Canada and Go Teach Global.
Time: Weekly, Tuesdays at 7 pm EST

Jim Cunningham
Paul Estabrooks
Jim Cunningham and Paul Estabrooks have been best friends for 65 years. They both graduated from London College of Bible and Missions (now Tyndale University). Jim went on to do graduate studies in Adult Education and was awarded his EdD from U of Toronto after a year of living in and doing research in Israel. Paul went on to do MA graduate studies at Wayne State U in Mass Communications. Jim then worked with Christian Service Brigade, Trinity Western University, ELIC as well as Wycliffe Bible Translators at CanIL. Paul lived in Asia for 15 years working with FEBC Radio and Open Doors Asia then coming home to serve under Open Doors International until the end of 2016 when he retired.
For the past 20 years, Paul and Jim have collaborated on the Standing Strong Through The Storm text and training program for Open Doors around the world. The text (now in its 3rd Edition) is in 48 languages. They have literally travelled the world together to share this teaching and train teachers. Since retirement, they have travelled and taught under the banner of Jim’s registered charity Go Teach Global. Now with COVID-19 dominating North America, they are excited about sharing this valuable seminar here at home online.
Jim and Paul have been married to Rita and Dianne respectively for more than 50 years and have children and grandchildren.
