If George Grant was one of the most significant Canadian public intellectuals in the second half of the 20th century, Stephen Leacock was one of the most prominent Canadian public intellectuals in the first half of the 20th century. Leacock’s broad ranging High Tory vision was grounded in the fullness of the historic Christian Humanist way. This lecture will reflect on Leacock’s depth, breadth and fullness.
