Susan McCaslin is launching Superabundantly Alive: Thomas Merton’s Dance with the Feminine in the Great Hall at the Centre for Peace on Wed. Feb. 6 at 7:30 pm. This lively volume of creative-nonfiction includes dialogue, imaginary letters, graphic design poems, memoir, and reflective essays.
Susan McCaslin is an established Canadian poet and a Thomas Merton scholar whose work explores the integral relation of contemplation and action as well as the figure of Sophia or Holy Wisdom in Merton’s life and art.
This event is co-sponsored by the Thomas Merton Society of Canada and Canadian Memorial United Church & Centre for Peace. Everyone is welcome.
