iPads, Laptops and the School Year – Parenting in a Digital World

Are you struggling with managing your child’s screen time?

Do you have a good understanding of the impact of technology on your child’s development?

Come and learn how to lead and teach good digital stewardship. Learn about the connection between technology and childhood anxiety. This workshop will prepare you for success in out-of-school time this school year where technology does not become the babysitter for your child.

This workshop will:

  • Examine the impact of the use of technology on a child’s brain, their social and emotional development and their overall physical health.
  • Cover both positive and negative impacts on children.
  • Explore strategies to parent effectively in the digital age.
  • Provide practical strategies on how to set children up for success in being good digital stewards.

Date: Saturday September 30, 9:00am to 12:30pm
Cost: $80 each ($145 for couples)
Instructors: Kyla Moon and Cameron Keller

Light snacks and refreshments will be available.

Register early as you will need to complete a brief assignment in advance to prepare you to get the most out of the session. Space is limited.
