Join the The Kingdom of God in Working Clothes course with Dr. R. Paul Stevens (Professor Emeritus of Marketplace Theology at Regent College, Chairman of the Institute for Marketplace Transformation, and coauthor of Taking Your Soul to Work (Eerdmans), and other guests.

This course starts with the gospel of Jesus Christ which was and is the good news of the kingdom of God, that life-giving, rule of God in the hearts of human beings and the affairs of the world. The kingdom brings human flourishing. It brings heaven to earth (at least a portion of it but the kingdom will not fully come until Christ returns at the end of human history). But it also brings conflict with the principalities and powers. The kingdom of God is the central theme of the Bible and Jesus embodied the kingdom saying in effect: Want to know what the kingdom is like? Look at me and my work. All of this will have a practical bearing on the areas of economics, work, business and whole-life discipleship.
