On Sunday, April 24, halfway between Easter and Pentecost, we are inviting the church of Abbotsford to come together for an evening of unity, prayer and worship. We’ve been inspired by “Voices Together”, a consortium of churches in Vancouver which, 3 times over the last 8 years, has drawn together some 8-10,000 believers from churches across the city for a Canada Day service of worship and prayer.
The evening will be led by worship leaders, pastors and others from across the city. We’re simply calling it Together – City Church Worship & Prayer Gathering. It will be held at Gateway Church (Abby-Mission Hwy). We plan to hold two services (4:30-6:00 pm and 7:00-8:30 pm) in order to accommodate the numbers we hope will attend.
