~ An Invitation: A time of worship, sharing and reflection

  • Worship Leader: Esther Kong

  • Sharing: Rev. Alan Yu

**********************************************

Carey Theological College, supported by a grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, is seeking to explore ways to enhance the worship experience in multigenerational, multicultural and multilingual ethnic churches in Vancouver. We eagerly and humbly seek to work with local pastors and church worshippers, to engage in conversation and discussion, and to offer help and support, in search of ways to enrich worship practices in our ethnic church settings.

Please be invited to join our first meeting on 09 Dec 2017 (Sat) at Carey. We will have a worship and sharing time in the morning, followed by lunch, and an open symposium in the afternoon, when we look forward to future activities and collaboration to work towards our goals. Our current committee members include Pastor Esther Kong (Fraser Lands Church), Rev. Alan Yu (Westside Baptist), Pastor Doug Wong (Lord’s Love Church), Rev. Michael Chou (Richmond ECBC), and myself. All expenses covered.

Please kindly let me know if you will be able to attend. Please also help me extend the invitation to the pastors/worshippers from your churches that may be interested in it. We eagerly expect your reply, and the opportunity to go on this challenging and exciting journey with you.
