With the election over, the federal government is poised to move forward with the Canada-wide child care plan. Parents rely on a diverse ecosystem of care to meet their needs.

How can we speak into a federal plan that addresses the challenges faced by many parents and providers? How will this plan impact those on the ground? To answer these questions, we need to hear voices that have thus far been unheard in the debates around child care.

Join Cardus as we listen to:
Andrea Hannen, Association of Daycare Operators of Ontario
Karen Renkema, Progressive Contractors Association
Julie Bisnath, Child Care Providers Resource Network

Moderated by Cardus Senior Fellow Andrea Mrozek, we will listen and learn about the challenges and pitfalls of a national daycare system, and help us imagine a system that puts the care of the child first.
