TAKING RISK ON PURPOSE
Integrating business, life and faith

Whether you are walking across the street or investing in the stock market, risk is a fact of life. According to Garth Jestley, newly appointed Executive Director of LeaderImpact, “Taking risk is good, provided one takes it on purpose”.

Garth can speak with authority regarding risk. For over 40 years, he has held senior leadership positions in the financial services sector including VP of Citibank and Bank of Montreal, and CEO of a private investment management firm with current assets under management of more than $3 billion. In his presentation, Garth will discuss lessons he has learned regarding risk, providing a solid basis for evaluating business and personal risk. In that context he will outline how his personal faith in God has impacted his business, family and personal life.

Garth and his wife Mary, have been married for 45 years, have four children and a growing number of grandchildren, and call Mississauga, Ontario home. Many different hobbies including travelling, motorcycling, community activities and spending time with family and friends are favorite pastimes.
