Please join us on Monday, September 14 for the virtual launch of two new books: Letters to a Young Pastor and Letters to a Young Congregation by Eric E. Peterson. Eric will share from each of his books and will be joined in conversation by Dr. Iwan Russell-Jones.
In Letters to a Young Pastor, Eric Peterson shares the correspondence between him and his father, pastor and author Eugene Peterson, as Eric was starting out as a young pastor. As the reader, you will glimpse into the tender, witty, personal side of Eugene mentoring his own son.
Letters to a Young Congregation, written over several years by Eric, offers a poignant, pastoral vision for what the people of God are to be about in their personal lives and their life together. In this book, he addresses essential questions such as “What is a church? What should a church be doing? What do we owe each other? What can we expect from one another? How do we follow Christ together?”
