Join us on Tuesday 8 February at 6pm Central Time for a conversation on Afghanistan, where hunger is becoming a crisis situation.
We will be joined by Marvin Parvez, regional director for Community World Service Asia (CWSA) in Pakistan and Afghanistan. CWSA is the locally-based partner of our member Presbyterian World Service & Development (PWS&D).
You’ll have the opportunity to hear firsthand about the crisis from Marvin, in conversation with Canadian Foodgrains Bank director of public policy Paul Hagerman. Paul joined the Foodgrains Bank in 2007 and oversees advocacy work on food security issues within the organization.
